Hi, friends-- thanks for considering me to capture your special moment! A little about me... this hobby of mine morphed into a career in 2017 while living in CT. At my very first photo session, I got a tick bite & contracted Lyme disease & babesia-- not the best way to start my journey! I continued to pursue my career as much as I could while battling these illnesses, and ultimately we chose to move to Ponte Vedra, FL so I could live a more healing lifestyle by the beach. I am so grateful to those clients in the early days of my career who took a chance on me, knowing my health was not very stable.
When I began this career, I wasn't exactly sure which niche I wanted to specialize in, so I tried everything! Eventually, my clients led me into honing in on seniors, families, couples, with a dash of marketing. In a past life, I was a high school English teacher, fitness trainer, and writer. Each job has made me the photographer I am, one who wants clients to feel seen & to see the best in themselves, who sees the light and beauty in every human I interact with, & who can cue poses, modify and adjust during a session, & be your biggest hype girl. I view us as a team, & I welcome client ideas, too-- you know your family, your kids, yourself better than anyone- who better to help direct the shoot? I always strive to include posed, cued, and candid shots in each gallery, so it feels like all sides of you. My editing style is mostly True Tone, with warmer blues and cooler greens to give that Florida feel, with just the right amount of contrast that's flattering but not harsh, and lovely skin tones that are glowy and natural.
